The Daytona 675 launched Triumph into the middleweight supersport class with a compact, torquey in-line triple instead of the usual four. An aluminium twin-spar frame, fully adjustable USD forks and radial-style four-piston front brakes gave it a light, sharp-handling chassis. It quickly won magazine group tests, praised for strong midrange and a distinctive triple exhaust note.
